The Venice Fireworks Show
Venice’s annual Independence Day fireworks display will light up the night sky on Wednesday, July 4. The fireworks will be shot from the South Jetty on July 4 shortly after 9 p.m. The free show will last an estimated 30 minutes. Available on the front event lawn of the stadium will be a children’s section which will include a variety of free activities and much more. Click here for more information.
Englewood Firecracker Festival
The annual Englewood Firecracker Festival, Block Party and Craft Show, followed by one of the largest fireworks shows in Southwest Florida, is proudly presented by the Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary. Things get going on Dearborn Street starting at 10 a.m. with all American food from local restaurants and vendors, as well as ice cold beer and frozen drinks. Over 60 craft vendors will be lining Dearborn Street, along with the area’s largest muscle car show. A kid’s game area with water slides and bounce houses will also be available. North Port Freedom Festival
A local summer tradition since 2004, North Port's Freedom Festival, presented by American Irrigation, provides families and friends the chance to celebrate Independence Day together with good food, lively entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks display. This year the event will be held at CoolToday Park (18800 South W Villages Pkwy, Venice, FL 34293) on July 4, 2019. Gates will be open to the Public at 4:00 p.m. Seating will be available both inside the stadium or outside on the Event Lawn. If watching the Fireworks Show from the Event Lawn, the public is welcome to bring blankets or chairs to enjoy the show.
