There’s nothing like packing up the family in the car and heading out to see Christmas lights! Turn on your Holiday music, grab some cookies and coco, roll down the windows and enjoy the holiday displays!

Bright Homes and Neighborhoods

Enander’s Winter Wonderland, Nokomis

Located at 2281 Mission Valley Nokomis, FL this house is well worth the drive! It is a private residence, but the Enanders open up their house each year so the community can be dazzled with over 2 acres of spectacular lights! The halls, walls, roof, yard, trees are all decked with over 250,000 lights and 400 lit figurines. From polar bears to dinosaurs and a pirate ship, there’s no shortage of sights to see at this amazing stop! There are well-marked signs of where to start and Enander himself greets all guests, while wearing a Santa hat and passing out candy canes. Cedar Hollow, Sarasota

Check out Cedar Hollow Neighborhood, just south of Fruitville off of Honore on Camus Street. From roofs completely covered in lights to tractors decked out in lights to an archway tunnel drive through, there’s plenty for the entire family to enjoy! East Mark Drive, Sarasota

Take a drive down this road and house after house is light up with lights! At the end of the lane is a bonafide masterpiece that you must see to believe!

Colonial Gables, Sarasota

Colonial Gables is a neighborhood at the corner of Bee Ridge and Woodmont Drive. Grab a warm drink and walk or cruise through the beautiful light displays. The entire neighborhood has decided to get in on the fun – from snow machines to Santa’s village and gingerbread houses to melting snowmen, each house is decked out!

Country Christmas, Hunsader Farms

When: December 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, and 23, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Cost: Admission: $10.00 – Cash Only; Kids 5 and under – Free; Parking – Free

The farm is decorated with over 250,000 lights! Admission to Hunsader’s Country Christmas includes hayrides, kiddie train rides, pictures with Santa, a petting zoo, and Christmas movie on the big screen. You can purchase food, beverages, and pony rides too.

Lights in Bloom, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens

900 S. Palm Ave. Sarasota, FL 34236

When: December 20 – January 6 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Cost: $20.00/Members; $25.00/Guests; $7.00/Children ages 5 – 12; Free/ Kids under 5

Over one million lights will illuminate the garden and walkways will be transformed into sensory light tunnels. Visitors will have the opportunity to stroll through magical gardens filled with beautifully lit flowers, radiant rainforest butterflies, dragonflies, and more.

Tour of Lights

Prefer to sit back and let someone else do the driving? Hop on a trolley and let the driver take you to all of the best lit spots in the city. There are two options for holiday lights trolley tours in Sarasota.

SRQ Trolley

Pickup is outside the Regions Bank (Burlington Coat Factory Lot) at the corner of Cattlemen Rd. and Bee Ridge Rd.

When: SRQ Trolley begins tours the first Friday in December and run throughout the month. Trolleys depart at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.; Siesta Trolley tours begin approximately Dec. 5 and run through approximately Dec. 30. Trolley boards at 6:45 p.m., departs 7 p.m Cost: SRQ Trolley: $15/person; Siesta Trolley:$15/person; Private tours range from $375-$450, depending on the size of the trolley
